WELCOME TO CURA!

Cura Orphanage is a residence for children who have lost their parents to AIDS. Our home is located in the village of Cura, in Kenya, Africa. Fifty children, ranging in age from 4 to 13 currently live at our Home, thanks to funding from Rotary Clubs in Kenya, Canada, UK and the United States, from the Slum Doctors Programme and from other well-wishers across the globe. At Cura Orphanage we are committed to providing a loving home for our children, where they find safety, health and a new family. Our children attend the local pre- and primary schools, and we strive at our Home to be an integral part of our local village. Cura is a place where hope has a place to grow.

Here you see the children happy and growing, in spite of the many challenges they each have faced. There is so much we are doing at Cura, but there is more to do! Please partner with us to help us grow and thrive.

There are many ways you can be involved,

  than $3 a day your sponsorship will
  cover the full cost of feeding, clothing
  and educating a child in our home.
